Luxome X Time Out Group Charity
Open 6 days a week for 51 weeks per year, Time Out Group is an organisation that helps adults with learning disabilities get active and make new friends. Having recently celebrated their 20th anniversary, Time Out Group has been helping families for a long time and hope to continue to do so for as long as possible.
Based in Handforth, for people across Cheshire East and surrounding areas, they are always open to welcoming new members.
The National Lottery recently awarded them with £220,000, recognising their excellent efforts in aiding those with disabilities. This will help enable them to fund enriching activities for their members including: fun trips out, wellbeing sessions, sports events, art and craft workshops and social days.
Here’s what Deputy Manager Anne Louise Black had to say regarding the funding.
“We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been awarded funding from The National Lottery. This will allow us to provide fantastic sessions for our members, to help them develop life skills, improve their mental and physical wellbeing and make new friends.”
It warms our hearts to see the amazing work this charity does on a day to day basis and we aim to support them as much as we can in the future.
