Litter Pick Fundraiser with UoM Netball

We love the communities our homes are in, but sometimes they need a little TLC. This Sunday 20th March were helping out Luxome® sponsored University Of Manchester Women’s Netball Club to pick litter and recycle some of the rubbish in the streets and parks of Fallowfield. It’s a fundraising event to help generate funds for training facilities and get more teams playing competitively.

“UMWNC is a hard-working club of talented female athletes, providing both a competitive sporting environment and supportive community for members. Each year, we take on various challenges to fundraise for both local charities, and UMWNC, in order to secure courts for training and support teams in BUCS. On Sunday 20th March, we are undertaking a litter pick across Fallowfield with our kind sponsors Luxome® to help clean up our local area, and raise money to help fund our training next season. Any support for our club is greatly appreciated!”

We’re meeting at 14:30 at Owens Park reception and making our way through the streets and parks of Fallowfield to Kinsgwood park where the club trains on Sundays.
